My company and I had the opportunity to join the Workstation West Berkeley community before we had to forgo our space due to Alameda County's stay-at-home order in April and not having enough folks live in the Berkeley area. WWB was kind enough to grant us virtual mail services for a reasonable fee, helping us avoid the mess of having to change our address even though we no longer had a physical office there. Kiana, Rolf, and the rest of the WWB team always provide excellent member support and are very personable. I have never waited longer than a few hours to receive a response to my emails or requests. They're always on top of it! My team and I gravitated toward WWB because of their amenities (solid Wi-Fi, printing services, communal kitchen stocked with snacks, etc.), attentive service, and emphasis on supporting local organizations. They do a wonderful job attracting creative and all-around nice people. Our women's business group and other organizations utilized WWB to host get-togethers, networking events, youth writing programs, open mics, art shows, and even rehearsal space for a local singing group. Though my team had to say goodbye to our office and their events are on pause, I plan to stay as part of the community and pop by every so often with a day pass.

The wood slabs and wood ceiling add to the nature-y, organic feel of this creative space and provide respite from days glued to a screen.

Very excited for this place to open up. I live in the neighborhood and it would be great to have a spot to work so close to everything!
