We absolutely loved this trail. It was beautiful as well as short and easy. Just be prepared to bring sunscreen and take home sand in your shoes.

Rode my bike from the Oceanside Campground down to South Beach on Assateague Island National Seashore this morning. Hiked the short 1/2 mile loop trail through the dunes on the Life of the Dunes Trail. I’ve been on this island at least a dozen times in the past and never explored this trail. It gives a much different perspective of the dunes and is worth exploring.
