We received excellent service from Don M! For an appetizer we had the crab dip with fried pita chips...YUMMY!Also ordered salmon cooked in parchment paper (a special of the day). It was not worth the hefty 29 price tag. The Sweet Baby Jesus beer was super!

The food is Is spectacular and delicious. Lots of fun things to try on the menu. The duck was amazing. Service is top notch. Take the time to make a reservation but they do take walk ins. Eating inside is much better than eating outside but outside of still a great option. Parking easily accessible.

Great restaurant in Williamsburg! We were able to dine in for a late lunch and liked the variety of food on the menu for our group to choose from. Our server was great, very helpful with some things we needed for kids. The tables were spread out for distancing but the restaurant was still busy, showing their attention to cleanliness and how popular they are. Would return to Berrets again!

The staff here always makes us feel at home. The she-crab soup is the best in Virginia, and I loved the Seafood Baked In Parchment Paper - it presents beautifully and is delicious too! Beware the size of the dessert portions. We shared a carrot cake slice, and had to ask for a box. The piece we took home was large enough to share again! We definitely loved our dinner and Berret’s and will be back soon!

Pretty sure my plate of oysters was an appetizer, but I did not share! I wanted all six for myself. Two each of three variations. Having never had Oysters Rockefeller, I could sample without committing to an entire entree. The Rockefeller was my fav but the others had their own appeal. One incorporated mushrooms and the other a mild bread crumb topping. Caesar salad with house made dressing and a couple of briny anchovies tucked under crisp romaine offered a crunchy yet similarly salty counter to the oysters. I saved the homemade, lightly sweetened, custardy eggnog for dessert.
