Czech Plaza Restaurant is a family owned very old restaurant in Berwyn, IL. The serving foods are freshly prepared and delicious. They are famous for their Rey bread. They are using their ingredients for their delicious dishes and so able to provide best quality , tasty and delicious food. Their breaded shrimps and breaded pork tenderloin are delicious. Their soups and appetizers are great. I like their Rainbow Trout seafood very much. One can go along with the family and friends their. You can enjoy all freshly prepared family traditional East European foodies their. They are having dine-in, delivery and takeout options. Very good place for kids too.

Through all the crises of this year, Czech Plaza has remained constant and faithful to its menu. Every meal is COMPLETE. First course, second course, main dish (with choice of starch) and dessert. All served with every detail taken care of (including fresh *delicious* bread). This restaurant is a jewel that I have patronized for 15 years, and love VERY MUCH. Excellent food & excellent service. ALWAYS. TEN STARS!
Great food... but do yourself a favor and call your order in. They don't always have everything available. You won't know via online. So you end up waiting longer for your order
Its the only Czech restaurant left in Cicero/Berwyn, but they don't sacrifice any of their European charm. The svickova is one of the best beef meals Ive ever had, the sauce is to die for. The fried cheese is actually better than what I've had in the Czech Republic and the soups and sides are all super good. People usually associate Czech food with being bland, but that's definitely not the case here. To make it even better, their carryout containers are the best thing I've ever seen. They kept my food warm for over two hours when I went to visit the local Slovak cemetery. It was still piping hot! You have to try this place if you've never had Czech food before it's great.
Friendly family run restaurant! The food was pretty good but I've had better in Chicago. Liver dumpling soup and goulash were both very good. Their entree is pretty big that comes with 2 sides, soup, and dessert. Plan on sharing or being a container to take leftover home.
I cannot exactly say what I had or exactly what it was called because I did not take a picture of the menu. However, it was delicious. It was 3 large pork medallions in a red cream sauce served with bread dumplings (which I highly recommend) ...the sauce has a hint of vinegar, and sour cream. It was outstanding. If you want to try something different and experience the old world way. Go here and experience something old that will be new to you. The waitress was very helpful in guiding me to order Czech Food that an American would like.
Amazing atmosphere and menu. Hands down the best meals I’ve had to date. Definitely returning next time!
The only place I can get tender koprova and my hubby always orders the breaded pork tenderlion. The chicken noodle soup is as good as Mom's, maybe better! I am grateful they got both orders exactly right as we carried out. Great food at a good price!
