The Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce is a terrific organization. The events that they help sponsor and the limitless networking potential alone make the membership worthwhile. It's a classy, well-run organization that strikes the balance between large and small organizations and the people who live in the community. I have been active in many chambers of commerce over the years and I’ve found that the Greater Bethesda Chamber is one of the best and most effective business advocacy groups in Montgomery County. Every action they take is done with the goal of helping businesses grow and prosper, which benefits our entire community. Plus, it’s great fun! My membership fee is one of the best investments my business has made.

I have been involved with the Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce for 12 years. From meeting great people, many whom have become friends, to actual closed business. My company and I have benifited more than the dollars and hours put in. If you are located in, or are doing business in the greater Bethesda area you should consider becoming a member.

I’ve been a member of The Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce for three years and have been delighted with the return on investment of my membership. In the past I have found Chamber of Commerce settings to be a waste of time that leaves you with a handful of business cards and no next steps. Not in Bethesda! Meetings and events are packed with innovative minds, all of whom are business owners or community leaders across the public and private spheres. There are infinite opportunities to collaborate—and I have launched partnerships and built relationships that have lasted. The Chamber advocates effectively on behalf of its members and skillfully navigates complex policy issues on both the State and local level. There is great variety within the committee structure and event offerings to target different member needs. I feel confident that every meeting and event is worth my time. For example, the Next Execs committee focuses on topics important to young professionals. Through this committee, I’ve had substantive discussions with my peers on building healthy workplace culture, improving communication, and managing up, down, and across teams. If you do business in Bethesda, join the Chamber!

The Greater Bethesda Chamber has been a great marketing, business and personal development tool for me and my business. I’m a small business in Bethesda; being a member means that I have access to other businesses and their owners. They are supportive and help me when I need direction or a name to contact. The staff is professional and always eager to help. They have several events each month that are beneficial for me to attend. The events range from networking to educational to social. I just recently did an evening gala event, a lunch and a breakfast networking event. The nice thing is that the events range in size, focus and time of day. Works well with my schedule. They have a monthly leadership luncheon where I can be in the same room, having lunch with some of the biggest names in our area. They also have something called The Next Execs which is a group of business professionals that are younger in their age or career. This group has been helpful to my staff. It’s a great way for my younger staff to learn about the business world outside of my office. If you’re a business of any size, you’ll be able to find benefit in what this Chamber offers. Check them out, it'll be worth your time.
