After carrying my Janome in to be cleaned and checked out, I ask about bringing in an old singer machine. At the time I was told absolutely, she was also trying to sell me a new machine though. Today I carried in the old Singer and felt like I was attacked, because “this is a janome store”. Said if it needs parts you have to come up with them. Isn’t that what a repair guy does? Had they told me the previous time, no our service guy doesn’t work on Singers or if you need something replaced you have to order it ahead of time, I wouldn’t have driven over there(There were singers waiting to be picked up the day I dropped off my other machine). But luckily I found someone certified to work on all machines and very knowledgeable. What a shame. It’s a nice store with a good selection of fabrics. Unfortunately, I guess I walked in at the wrong time on a bad day.
