Dr. Nell is fantastic! She has made me a believer in the healing power of acupuncture. I'm impressed at how effective the treatments have been in helping me to feel better with my sports injuries. Since Dr. Nell started treating my knee, I have seen a significant improvement in the day-to-day pain levels from this. I have been able to get back to running and biking with minimal pain; both activities would typically generate a lot of pain lasting several days. Now it is minimal and is not noticeable the following day. I highly recommend Dr. Nell to folks seeking acupuncture for the first time, and to those who take their wellness seriously.

Dr. Nell is a phenomenal practitioner. She is thorough and thoughtful. I always leave her office feeling better then I walked in. And it amazes me how she can just tell what's going on with me by looking at my ear or my tongue. She's able to identify things that sometimes I'm not even paying attention to. I would highly recommend going to see her if you've never tried acupuncture or if you're an experienced patient and looking for an extraordinary doctor.
Dr. Nell is such a gentle acupuncturist. I was blown away at how many needles she put in me before I even knew she did one. I really liked how she took the time to explain what she was doing, how many treatments I need, and what supplements will help me too. I tell everyone who will listen what a great doctor she is.
I was referred to Pique Integrative Medicine by a friend, I didn't know what Integrative medicine was, so I was very skeptical at the beginning .. I didn’t think that this type of treatment would be right for me .. But now I’m so happy I found Dr. Nell Smircina ! This doctor is amazing ! I moved to Los Angeles 6 months ago from Paris.This important change in my life caused me a lot of stress and anxiety, to which was added insomnia, disturbed sleep and a start of weight gain. Dr. Nell is not only an incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate acupuncturist, she prides herself in being the hardest worker in the room. She is ultimately what you want in an acupuncturist. Her ability to relate to and speak the language of movement sets her apart from other acupuncturists. I know her passion is post op recovery and rehabilitation but trust, she is well versed and experienced in all that acupuncture has to offer. She is a dedicated healthcare professional and you shouldn't have any doubt about trusting her with your health.
