The safety briefing gives you all info that you need to know and all the equipment that you will need has provided to you. An professional diver will be with you at all times. it is highly advised to not get too far away from the professional diver. Overall I had a wonderful experience that I will never forget and the hardest part for me was calming down after I was starting to be submerged and the professional diver very easily help me relax.
I went scuba diving from here with Aloha scuba. Was an amazing experience. Captain Greg and Jessica were awesome and the best instructors you could ask for. I will be back when in oahu for sure to dive with the best. Mahalo
Both Greg's were great! They were informative and very helpful. We had a great time and would highly recommend. They even went out of their way and gave us a little lift down the street. When we come back we would definitely use them again. Really down to earth guys.
Captain Greg was patient, hilarious and very enthusiastic. You can tell that he enjoys what he does, and as it was our first time, he made sure that we were comfortable and did not rush us. The only regret that we have is that we did not do the second dive (which would have been with the other Greg).
Such a fantastic experience! I recommend this company and the people. It was our first time trying scuba so I booked a groupon online for four ppl (me, my older sister and my parents of 60 yrs old!) Suits, flaps, and scuba tanks are all provided. U jus need to bring yourself. At first we were all scared bc it was our first time. My mom had to get back on the boat so she watched us the whole time. My dad wasn't able to go underwater but he snorkeled by the boat's ladder the whole time. It took my sister and i about 5-10 mins until we were telex enough to go underwater. Its such a beautiful site underneath. We saw big turtles and lots of fishes. We took alot of pictures above but wished we could've gotten their underwater camera that they provided at 20 (i think.) Jess and Greg were awesome instructors and was very patient with us even though we had a few backed-out moments. Although we used the Groupon they treated us just like everyone else. Snacks were provided by the end of our trip. That was a very sweet wrap. We would love to try it again if we go back to Oahu. Definitely Recommends!!
The best time!!! They know exactly where to take you to see plenty of sea turtles and all kinds of different sea creatures it’s a great atmosphere with great people for a great price, if I am ever able to get my certification I would absolutely do it through big kahuna water sports! Thank you guys for an amazing time hope to see you again some day!! ️
Greg was awesome! My two kids 12 and 10 had never been scuba diving and I needed a refresher. Greg was very thorough in his instruction, and is very funny which helped keep the kids attention. In the water, Greg was right there with the kids. It was a most excellent experience!
