A really nice forest preserve, plus the old quarry lake. We didn't walk around the lake this time, but planning on trying that path next time.

Walking trail circling the lake. Numerous paths from trail leading to waters edge or cliff face edge. Multiple spots to sit or walk along the cliff's edge. Swimming is not allowed but canoe or kayak and fishing is ok. We spent a little over an hour circling the lake and exploring the paths and trails and taking pictures of course :)

Great little treasure. Quarry lake for fishing or carry in boating. No swimming!! Trails around lake n backside to grasslands n oak savanna. Couple different parking lots. Outdoor pit toilet. Campground on north side.

Very nice Forest preserve with large quarry type lake, hiking trails ,wish people would clean up after their dogs though.
