We love The Standard! Great place to relax, cool atmosphere and great folks! We usually stick to beer and wine (and they have great selections) but they gave some good cocktail recommendations. Had the New York Sour and the Coffee Old Fashioned. Both great but will have the COF next time we’re there!

I never really liked macarons until I came here! They're absolutely beautiful and delicious! Plus, their milk on tap is the best.

A true hidden gem. The staff are amazing. They know how to make someone feel welcome. The drinks! Amazing!!!! Top stop for a great cocktail before or after dinner.

Bartender with the wrist splint was really nice and cool. Went on a Sunday night, didn’t have any desserts. Didn’t have half the menu bc they didn’t have any Titos, bulleit, or ice cream. We attempted to pay the bill but they already split the bills up for every person. Gave him our credit cards and he said “try venmo next time.” Curious, we asked, “you take Venmo as payment?” to which he replied “no I mean amongst you all. We kindly explained we tried to pay for it all, but the other much friendlier bartender already split them up. After taking our credit cards he then said “it’s a 15 minimum.” I can go on, but still after his rudeness and us leaving 15-20% tip he replied, “I can afford to do laundry now.”

This is the absolute best bar in Big Sky! The decor is fabulous and the variety of beautiful cocktails will blow your mind. Make sure and check out their weekend brunch.

Absolutely loved the craft cocktails here and the entire ascetic from the colors on the wall, drapes, and booths. Even though it was newer construction felt like it had some soul.

I love The Standard! Great little bar with craft cocktails! Went for dessert and was not disappointed at all! Like I said, it's a small bar so you have to be patient and understanding that there is one person (usually) making a drink from scratch and preparing desserts. It is pricey but it's worth the atmosphere and your taste buds will thank you!

this business not only does not adhere to covid-19 guidelines, i felt the bartenders were deliberately talking down to me for being a female in their establishment. it seemed like a slime ball was talking to me when my boyfriend wasn't looking. i watched how they spoke to my male counterparts versus me and it was not even remotely equal. not even kind of equal. the bartenders don't wear masks (i don't really care about your political views, but a mandate is a mandate so abide by it- there is photographic evidence of them doing so as well), and they are extremely lax about curfew. they have some weird, creepy monday evening service industry night and it should definitely raise eyebrows for the town. sneaking through a backdoor to hide guests is not normal. if you want a great cocktail, take your business to horn & cantle or copper, where your time is appreciated. big sky's covid numbers are high and if you're ignoring simple mandates (whether they change in a few days or not), you're not prioritizing your community, and i have a big problem with that. i will never go back to the standard.
