I went here to buy a birthday gift card for my daughter because she shops here. The lady was very nice, friendly and helpful. The store's energy was great. There also was a group of ladies all knitting together. My daughter raves about this store.

I was looking for some double pointed needles and visited Off the Needles with my two young sons. The selection is incredible! They had many brands and many types of needles. There were two women there knitting and at least one of them worked there (not sure if the other did). While I shopped they chatted with my kids. When my purchase was bagged she gave me two bags, both with paper, one with my needles and one with my receipt just so each of my kids could carry a bag.
I live in Billings and when I started knitting almost six years ago, Wild Purls was the only local yarn shop. They continue to be my favorite with friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful and diverse yarn selection and comfortable atmosphere for shopping and knitting. I have also attended several classes over the years and have thoroughly enjoyed broadening my skill set with their creative and helpful teachers.
