My grandpa took me to Birmingham Design Studio. He’s been doing business with it since 1987. They helped me find a beautiful Persian rug. What a cool buying experience!

We had been looking for an area rug for our family room for several months. I visited Birmingham Design Studio on a few separate occasions. I was always greeted by someone from their team to help me look through their incredibly large selection of stunning area rugs. They never pressured me, which allowed me to feel comfortable as I looked through their selection. I found the perfect area rug...and this is when I began to realize just how special their design team treated their clients. I shared a few things with them in casual conversation. The first thing was that we had received a damaged piece of high end furniture from another home furnishing store. I also shared that there was a particular piece of artwork I was interested in for my kitchen. And I mentioned that I had missed out on a home accessory I was going to purchase because it had been discontinued. The next day, Kristi from Birmingham Design Studio called me, and one by one addressed EVERYTHING I had mentioned to her. She ordered a new liner (free of charge) and a new custom leg for our damaged furniture direct from the manufacturer...even though the furniture was not purchased at her store. She opened an account with the company that produced the artwork we were interested in purchasing. And of course, she had found the discontinued accessory (at about half the price) and was having it sent to the store. I cannot say enough good things about this team. I will go out of my way to purchase from them in the future because I think they are TRULY WONDERFUL & TALENTED PEOPLE who have outstanding work ethic. And I will always recommend them to others, because I know first hand that they care about their clients.

Their whole team made my shopping experience a very positive one. They took the time to give me choices and did not try to sell me everything. In fact, I wanted some window treatments which they said I did not need. They have earned my trust. They were not pushy. Also, Kristi has a great knowledge of oriental rugs. I can not recommend them highly enough.

We recently relocated to Birmingham. The vast choices in retail and professional design services are overwhelming, if not downright intimidating, compared to those available in our previous residential location. Furthermore, our relocation is a considerable downsize. Therefore, our needs do not constitute what could be considered a \major\ account for any professional designer. Nonetheless, every positive review I see posted for the Birmingham Design Studio is entirely accurate based upon our recent experience. Kristi, Kevin and Nick personally delivered a cocktail table to us ON A SUNDAY! At the same time, Kevin drew up some compelling floor plans for our modest living space in the midst of a busy travel week for him. Kristi needed nothing more than to look at a photo of a dated rug we were hoping to find a runner to match with, and brought with her the perfect piece. In short: These people are talented. They know their business. They deliver exceptional client service.
