Super friendly, helpful and excellent work! Brought 3 lamps in for repair, 2 of them were unique pieces that needed more than typical rewiring, and the guys at Central Lighting fixed everything perfectly with a very short turn-around. So pleased! Will be my new go-to for lamp repair for sure! (Also, they have the best shades in town! I didn't need one this time, but will come back when i do!!)

Central Lighting rewired, cleaned and completely restored a glass light fixture that had hung in my grandmother's home for 60 years. It came back so much more beautiful than I ever imagined it could be. The guys at Central really know how to run a business, too. They are priced competitively, estimate time to complete projects conservatively and over-deliver. I'll be back.
I LOVE Central Lighting. This shop is such a treasure in Homewood. It has gorgeous lamps, shades, and finials, and even a few unique furniture items. Everything in their store is of the highest quality. Jeremy and Daniel have excellent taste. They have helped me find the perfect shade and finial for numerous lamps, and they have done excellent repair work on some older lamps. I have done a few lamp repairs myself, and I know that lamp repair can be extremely difficult and time consuming. We are so lucky to have a shop like this in the area. They are also very honest. If something isn’t worth doing, they will let you know. They work hard to make sure their customers are happy and get what they pay for.
I am new to Birmingham and needed to replace a few lampshades. I found Central Lighting online and stopped by hoping to find what I needed. The store far surpassed my expectations. What a wonderful shop! Jeremy is very helpful and full of suggestions. He has terrific taste and quality merchandise.
They did the best job repairing and also choosing a great shade for a lamp I inherited from my Grandmother, it looks even better now than when she owned it! Offered great service and I had the lamp back within a week. Thanks again for all the help!

I recently stopped by to have two desk laps repaired. This was my first visit to Central Lighting. Jeremy within a couple of minutes had one repaired and gave me honest thoughts on the repair cost for the 2nd. The store is filled with beautiful fixtures and offers top notch customer service. I highly recommend Central lighting in Homewood. Parking in front of the door is a plus too
