Black's livestock came by our farm on the morning of 8 Feb to pick up a dead pony. The pony had died on Superbowl Sunday, unexpectantly. It was one of 3 horses that my wife has and she was really broken up about it. I unfortunately did not get the name of the driver, but he was really good about it, we had to chain and drag the horse with the tractor over to the drive so he could be loaded. It took some doing and the driver was really patient and did not intrude on my wive's grieving for the pony. We got the pony over to the truck and he told her very kindly that she should not watch since it is not pretty. She complied. I thanked the driver for being sensitive and he said, you have to be.

You’re better off going to somewhere else to get your meat. As a customer trying to support a local business you would expect to get treated with gratitude and respect, but you won’t find that here. My uncle called in to ask what days meat was available for pick up and was met with a disgusting attitude from an employee. He hung up when my uncle didn’t understand something he said as he was rushing the whole call. As an elderly man just trying to get food for his family, Blacks Livestock completely disrespected him and isn’t worth your time.
Friendly people. Just plan to have your entire morning here.
The place has no respect for customers. Those who bring in their money to keep the business going are treating like trash. The level of disrespect that customers face is beyond measure.
The old man is so rude!! It's sad.He simply forgets \we the people\ keep him in business. Everyone that goes here need to stop going here to adjust this man attitude. Nobody is getting anything for free! Why treat people with no respect? Screaming, yelling and being completely out of line it's not a thing especially if am paying for services and product, save yourself sanity and energy look elsewhere!!
