The Blunder Bus

Incredible metal artisans in a historic blacksmith shop. What's not to love?

If I could give a zero to this business, to the man Sasha Parubchenko and his partners, Douglas and Oscar - I would. They screwed me over royally - and not just once but several times. They cost me not only thousands of dollars but time and effort as well. They gave me absolutely nothing, nada, zip in return. I asked them to do a job, they asked for drawings and I gave it to them. The drawings weren't good enough (I took drafting in college) and then they wanted some deconstruction done before they could do the job. Which I did. After several conversations with my carpenter and them they decided to do it - but stalled and stalled some more every-time a date was set. This morning they decided (after months of stalling) that they wouldn't do the job. Asked why - THEY COULDN'T, WOULDN'T tell us. My carpenter, who used them several times before, also wanted to know why but they got very angry with him for no reason other than him asking why they wouldn't do the job. We still don't know. Very strange people.

wow, what a great shop. Sasha the owner gives classes on Saturdays and today was my first go at blacksmithing. the shop dates back to the 1800's and is still a functioning business. my 8 year old also had a forge to himself and he is hooked. Update: I took classes for about 3 months and had to move out of state. My son and I loved the classes and I highly recommend checking this place out.
