Sun Viking Land Design did a great job. Their design team met with me and discussed what I wanted and then encompassed a design that included all that I asked for in a layout. They set a start date, were there on time, and finished it up in a timely manner, too. Their workers were great and professional. Their work was meticulous, they were easy to have around, and cleaned up every day. I am very happy with the project and recommend them without reservation. Our old front walkway was a mess. The pavers were old and loose and the layout designed by the previous owners did not make sense for our family. We knew we needed new pavers and a new design, but we struggled with ideas. We had four companies come out in the spring to give us ideas and quotes. Derek was by far the most professional and provided us with ideas that we were excited about. He even followed up after our initial meeting by sending us some computer generated images to better visualize what we had discussed. Some of the other quotes we received were lower in price and they would have been able to come out and do the job sooner, but we had a good feeling about Sun Viking so we decided the price and wait would be worth it and they did not disappoint. Everyone was super professional. The job itself was done in two and a half days and it looks gorgeous! If you are looking to get work done for the outside of your home, go with Sun Viking. You won’t be sorry.

Derek and his team demonstrated their expertise with hardscape materials during this project. As we observed their process, it was clear to us that their end product will have long lasting results. They took the appropriate steps to prepare the base with the right materials, and they considered the grading away from our foundation to ensure that rainfall would appropriately drain. Their specialty skills were evident throughout the process. From a pricing perspective, we found the cost to be balanced and appropriate for the quality of the work that exceeded our expectations. Derek is great to work with as he is attentive, flexible, punctual, and skillful!
