Just started working for them recently and it has been an awesome experience! Part time or full time! If you love driving, have a clean driving record, and love kids, you will not want to miss this opportunity! The staff and trainers have all been really helpful and they train you on site if you haven't gotten your Class-B drivers license yet!

This is an awesome company to work for. We are a family with great support from management and fellow co-workers!! I have only been driving for a year and a half and love my job at American Student.

I have been working here since August of 2020 and was really nervous about working at a new place after spending so many years at another bus company. The management has been strict but kind which I like to see. No favorites. Not like the other place. I am starting to feel like I have a family here. Honest review.

Extremely poor and non-dependable service. The bus had three stops to make...three...and was unprepared for the route. We are now driving our children to school. Questions to ask before you leverage this company: 1. How do you test the routes you've assigned your drivers before sending them to pick up children. 2. How do you set your drivers up for success and ensure they are familiar with the assigned route prior to sending drivers to practice with your children onboard. 3. What navigational tools, beyond a printed map, do you provide your drivers to support navigation. 4. Why are there no tracking devices on the buses to avoid having to be distracted while driving to provide location when parents are worried that the bus is 40 minutes late with their children on board. You will be very dissatisfied with their responses. Update: if GPS functionality exists, why call the driver multiple times to ask for location via dispatch when the bus was over 30 minutes late. Also, why report that the dispatch helped the driver get on the correct route.
