I was in Poland Warsaw before covid 19 took over. I was at a old store that sold this and that. In there show case was a antler crown silver stag knive. I ask to see it and it said D2 made in usa. He was asking 80 dollars us. So I had to buy it. I gave him my address and a week later I had it and I love it. I just need to send to you to give it a check up, and once over. I recently visited Silver Stag's new factory outlet store. For anyone interested in purchasing a custom American made knife this is the place. The selection and prices were excellent. The staff was very helpful in explaining how the knives are made and which one would be best for me. It is refreshing to see traditionally manufactured, high quality custom knives at a reasonable price.
I never visited the place personally but really heard too Good about the company and the products. Heard about SILVER STAG extensively while going through the YouTube channel of \deermeatfordinner\ by Robert Arlington. Being an outdoor junkie myself I had to write and rate for the people to know. SILVER STAG was founded in a garage by a couple of sportsmen who enjoyed turning old files and saw blades into hunting, fishing, and camping knives. The hobby turned into a business and the SILVER STAG brand was launched in 1998. Over the past 18 years, it has been extremely focused on improving our quality and selection. The SILVER STAG Knives are primarily ground, polished, assembled, shaped, and sharpened “Free Hand”. While no two finished knives will ever look exactly alike, all SILVER STAG Knives share certain features that make them extraordinary field tools. To start, the blades are designed by sportsmen and are exceptionally practical. The blades are manufactured exclusively from the highest quality domestically produced High Carbon Steel. Authentic North American antler or Stabilized Hardwoods are built into the designs. The finished knives are stunningly attractive, incredibly functional, and extremely durable. It had received the 2016 Friends of the NRA Knife of the Year, National Wild Turkey Federation Knife of the Year, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet Knife of the Year programs.
