Hello Just wanted to let you guys know I heard about the Juke Joint From my daughter Coworker speaks highly about the Juke Joint It's very hard To find some good soul food So A good friend of mine. Also Recommended The Juke Joint Okay I call and place a order for 3 pickups I pacifically said Please Put one order in a separate bag but I'm paying for everything The young ladies That's okay no problem Get the food The cornbread is at the bottom of the bag The gravy from one of the plates is dripping All over the cornbread All three plates are in one bag I was so so angry And I call her and let her know how I felt So that was good enough for me I would never ever Purchase anything from There again My friend also said The service Sucks but the food is good Okay but that's not how I work I want good food and good service That's what I'm paying for...

Definitely enjoyed salmon dinner. The string beans was very salty , but when I called back the girl told me next she would make it up to me. Would definitely purchase again. Oh and the cornbread is so good.

So I see that the overwhelming number reviews was entirely positive but I don’t know what could’ve taken place for anyone to write the few reviews that were negative ...those were mostly about the wait times for their food....well whenever you get a good home cooked not prepared ahead of time good ol down home southern dish, you usually have to wait....the food was impeccable !!! It was as if I cooked it myself!!! I have never been here in my life, I don’t know any of these people ...the hostess waitress cook and bus boy was phenomenal!!! for young people to be this awesome the future is safe!!!Darlene in particular has a heart of gold the entrepreneurship of Oprah Winfrey and is a beautiful spirit on top of being the best hostess/waitress I’ve encountered in some time!!! She went above & beyond to make sure our experience was one to talk about!!! I recommend this place highly & can’t wait to return!!! -Dana Banks
Absolutely delicious! Just had the grilled shrimp and yellow rice with sweet potatoes and potato salad and the side of cornbread! All worth the money, totally delicious! The food is fresh and my wife absolutely loves the Uptown!
