Was pulled over for a plate light being out found out my license was suspended the office tried to get the cheif to let me go home because i was about a block away from my house and had my kids and it was only 7 degress outside he said no so my kids with the flu had to sit outside and wait for a ride to get there. thought they were there to protect us guess im wrong just there to screw us over hope my 7 year old duaghter doesnt get worse because of this i think this is what is wrong with this country the have no care about people

1 star and terrible service. Reported a car accident a month ago and asked the officer if he can include the statement of the other person admitting at fault for the accident on to the accident report, guess what the officer didn't. Been trying to contact the officer but it always goes to voicemail and even contact his supervisor and goes to voicemail. The officer did leave me a voicemail stating he will call me back later that day, but guess what he never did, this happened several times. I ask the front desk if they can patch me through to a human resource department to file a complaint but they didn't instead I went straight to voicemail again. I never had a problem when I filed a car accident report with Oak Brook police department, they actually even wrote a narrative and wrote down my statements. Bloomingdale police department needs to improve on addresing citizens complaints instead of giving them a roundabout or cold shoulder.I appreciate the service they do for the community,but they need to fix their customer service.

Most disrespectful officers I’ve ever met. These types of police departments make me lose faith in our law enforcement. I have police officers at different police departments in my family so I hold high respect for the police force. However, I’ve met several police officers of the bloomingdale police department who are very cocky and disrespectful to the public.

A police officer and a Good Samaritan stopped to help a lady with a flat tire, in my opinion that definitely deserves five stars and a bunch of good karma.

I love the Bloomingdale Police Department. They play it by the rules and are a fantastic example of how a police department should operate. Im not one of those type of people who think certain departments enforce more aggressively, but BPD has been the most lenient force Ive seen. Their presence is felt all through the town and they do a great job at making it clear that they know exactly what goes on in town. Physically, its arguably the safest suburb and thats because of this police force. So if youre thinking of messing around in this town, just keep on driving. And if you think youre going to set something up here, its going to end badly for you. Probably very fast. Theyre sharp cops.
