Great experience with the install today with Jake and Edgar. They were able to replace both the city side and house mains as well install a new water heater, and fix a small gas leak in 4-4.5 hrs. They made sure I was the first on the list for the day so no waiting around all day for them to come out. I feel like I got a better value and product than some other places I had received quotes . Lance was also great as he was the original plumber that came out to give me the estimate.

Jeff was on time, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He kept me in the loop and asked questions before he installed the fixtures to make sure we were getting what we wanted. Afterward he did a thorough clean up including vacuuming. I would highly recommend Hero for all your electrical and plumbing needs. We have now used both and had an excellent experience every time.

Last month I had HERO out because my furnace completely stopped blowing warm air. It happened to be on a weekend late evening, and they were the only ones who could come out the soonest. I was told that my control board needed to be replaced. Due to it being an emergency I didn't shop around. Everything was fine until this week when I noticed the furnace repeatedly shutting on and off. Decided to call HERO again, and they agreed not to charge to come out. After this visit I was told my blower motor needed to be replaced. Due to quote I was given I decided to see what other prices were around the area. Getting other quotes I realized that maybe it would be best to get a second opinion. I'm glad I had a different company come out! I was told that when the control board was replaced the jumper pins were installed incorrectly which was causing the furnace not to heat correctly. A visit from another company saved me 2300 today, which I was quoted for a part that I didn't even need!

I have had a lot of work done by this company, but the service I appreciated the most occurred today. I had no heat on Thursday evening, and it was pretty cold (in the single digits, I believe). I called Hero (Uptown) around 9PM. The after-hours service was not great. I called again after 7AM (It was around 50 degrees inside the house) and the service was much better. I called again around 8AM and was told that someone should arrive in 10 minutes. Ryan Richardson arrived and stayed until I had heat and a humidifying issue had been fixed (a new pump installed). He was perfect. He explained what had happened and said he would not leave until I had heat. He was so competent, so respectful of me, my space, and my African Savannah cat who cannot tolerate the cold. He also left me some candy from valentine's day. I am 75 years old and have rarely had such a positive experience.

Hero is pretty good at what they do. I'm really happy with their workers, most of them knew how to do things right the first time. Hero stands by their work, have fair pricing and prompt in coordinating inspections with the city. I had some slight problems with the crew that initially installed my system, had to have different guys come back the next day to fix a few things. They got right on the fixes and were really diligent going forward to make sure I was happy. I'd say Hero needs to work on their sales staff, the guy that sold me my system had a really hard time returning phone calls after we did the deal. I had to call into management to set expectations. I'm pretty sure they will make adjustments going forward. I will certainly use Hero in the future as I feel they are a good value and I now know exactly what I will get from them. Give em a Call!
