Great experience & fair prices as far as kayak rentals go. They actually launch you out of Bowman Bay down by Deception Pass State Park. Saw a bunch of different birds, cool rock formations & about a half dozen seals. The wave conditions were perfect as well. The staff running the rentals were very nice & helpful too.

I did a kayak lesson with Blue Otter, it was great! Alex taught me about how to navigate currents and tides at Deception Pass. I feel a lot more confident now paddling through currents, I learned more advanced strokes, and we practiced rescues a bit too. It was a lot of fun and Alex is a great instructor!

Worst place to rent from definitely don't recommend way over priced kayaks are not great and no help getting down to water ( it's a far walk ) ! Find someone else to rent from you won't regret it
