Very concerned about the condition of the horses. Even with the saddles on you can see some with exposed ribs, hips protruding and tail bone showing. There’s one paint horse whose body condition looks very poor. Some of the bits being used on some of these horses way too extreme, especially when people who don’t know how to ride will be yanking on the reins. The thinner a mouthpiece is, the more severe it is. There’s a thinner white horse that was carrying around and oversized gentlemen and the horse appeared weighed down. Even looking through the pictures posted as reviews it is hard to look at some of the horses conditions. There’s no life in these horses eyes and I agree with some of the other comments about them looking miserable. Please do better and put more effort into maintaining your horses health and body conditions.

It was a pleasant ride and our guide was amazing! But I cannot remember her name (the sweet lady with short hair who was so good with my 7-year-old.) She was caring and kept an eye on my kids even from the front. She made our ride enjoyable and relaxing. I was slightly disappointed that it was too wet and slippery to take the horses on the mountain trail, but that is expected in the rainy season no matter what stable in the mountains you ride at. Maybe it's for the better since it was my daughter's first time, anyway. Even though we didn't travel up the mountain, the views of the meadow were gorgeous and I couldn't get enough of taking pictures! My husband's horse seemed to be a little small (he's 205 lbs) so I was a tad concerned at first, but I know these ladies and gentlemen know their horses well. Sure enough, his horse kept right up with the group without missing a step, but I'm sure the old gal got a good workout All the horses were well behaved and listened to commands really well. The rather large yet gentle horse my youngest daughter was on tolerated her like nothing I've ever seen. What a gentle horse! Can I take her home? Lol Thanks, y'all! We will always cherish this memory!

I will be back. Loved the horses. New rider and it was an easy trail. Went for an hour. Horses were easy to navigate through the mountain. Staff was genuinely friendly. Use Waze to get to location.
