Had a great time, hopping around the river. Fly fishing only for those of you who wanna throw a line. Water was beautiful, over 30 waterfalls. Lots of interesting spots, but most of the secondary roads didn’t have parking. Be prepared to park when you find a spot and hike. Bring water and snacks.

We love all things nature and being able to take a step back from society and building is a must. The dogs love the adventures as well and we have not found any hiking spots to be to difficult even if others say they have trouble. Do not miss out on a breath of fresh air. I promise it will feel like your new again.

We drove through Willamette during a road trip, and the first part was gorgeous and sunny, but as we drove a little deeper, it began to rain, so we were not able to go out of the car and walk around. When it stopped raining, there was a lot of fog, and the atmosphere was eerie, but we still enjoyed the visit.

Filled with beautiful trees, brilliant flowers and trails galore, there is always something to do in the Willamette National Forest. Everything from hiking, biking to walking and even driving through. Enjoy the beautiful scenery all year long and remember to leave it how you found it!

I've grown up around the Willamette National Forest, and from a young child all the way through adulthood, there is always something to do there. It truly is a magical place during all seasons. As much as I advocate for this place, it's vulnerable, so it needs to be respected and treated exceptionally well so our kid's kids can love it as much as myself, and millions of others have. Every year I stumble upon something completely unexpected and amazing. This alone is enticing enough to bring me back year after year.
