Nothing good to say about this company. Run do not apply here. They treat employees badly ,James talks to people awful & they do not care if you are sick. An employee has had every symptom of covid and still shows up to work because he is afraid of getting fired. If you miss or go to the Dr. they hand you a point and then fire you. Worked here for sometime, and really miss this job. I started doing QC on a AOI machine (automaticly scans, compares and flags components or connections that are potential issues). The female that trained me was so awesome and positive, and the production manager Justin was a great person to work for. He would help with situations and give advice and was someone I wasn't afraid to talk to. Found him to be a very effective manager even though I was asked to eventually leave the job due to sleep issues that caused me drowsiness. Eventually wrecked vehicle on highway driving home and they convinced me to leave with open door to return once the issue was addressed. I liked the owner and his wife that ran H.R. I think they did good jib with the place and were focused on their customers and making a quality product for them. I'm not sure what most of the low ratings are about from past employees. They have been around for awhile, so can't vouch for everyone, but this place was great to work at when I was there. The pay was decent, with excellent benefits and 3 breaks each shift. They would also do things for their employees like have a big BBQ, and at Christmas they gave us bonuses and time off for the holiday. Pretty awesome employer honestly, I want to eventually return at some point. Side note: Someone said a manager was \horriable\ their first day but as far as I remember he was actually not a bad guy at all and had a laid back personality as long as you got things done. If there ever was an issue, he was polite and respectful not aggressive and confrontational as described.
I was extended an offer with this company and started work today. Needless to say I was left by 230 pm due to a manger named James, because of his words and actions. I started my day at 7 am and was thrown onto a line building circuit boards with no direction. I worked said position all day and asked a co worker if my work looked right, because no manager had come to see how I was doing. When the young lady was beginning to answer, James the manager, confronted us and said.. do you like having a job? Do you like getting a paycheck??? All of you can look for another job today!! I don’t care. So on my way out to break I told the girls we shouldn’t have any contact or even smile since it’s prohibited. After break I went back to my station, when the manager James approached me and asked me what my problem was. I told him I have managed at several places and never spoken to my employees in that manner, and lastly, it’s my first day and I’m getting a bad impression. He then told me, I don’t know if I like you here either, so you should leave. When I went to speak with hr, who is always the owners wife, she told me I had to clock out before I left. Really? If the manager had been checking up to see how my first day was going, I would have asked him directly. This company is very unprofessional and treats their employees like trash. I will be making a report with the labor board. KEEP AWAY from this company at all costs!!! I just moved here from olathe, and I am very upset this was my first employment opportunity. I sure pray I didn’t make a mistake moving here...
