Excellent conditions tees through greens, especially the smooth true fairly fast greens. The course is quite wide open and forgiving, in part because the areas under the trees are very well blown clear of leaves. This was helpful to those of us who pulled or sliced tee balls a little more often than we would have hoped to. Lastly, they are very friendly, helpful, and professional. I was absent-minded enough to leave my lob wedge on # 14, but couldn't recall when I had last played it (rarely used), so one of the staff drove the last several holes until he found it on # 14. What a great guy, and staff!

Wife and I were on the island for 2 weeks and we played \The National\ twice. The course was in super shape and the speed of play was perfect. The course is challenging but yet forgiving. I love it. And the Yingling taps and pocket sandwiches are the best. We picked them up on the turn. We both shot well and will come back again and again. This course is always one of my \ must play\ when we make it to the island. Minnesota Golfers.

Best golf experience I’ve ever had in the south. GPS enabled iPad in the golf cart really helped with yardage. Great staff. Beautiful fairways and greens. 5 stars and worth the price.
