Boardman police officers have been doing a great job. They invited the community to a BBQ in the park where locals could meet their first responders and get a chance to talk with them. They even played games with the children in the community. In the last year or so there has been a big improvement within the police agency and they have been involving themselves with the community in a very positive manner. Also as a local bartender I must say that I truly appreciate the local LEO's who have taken the time to come into the bar on holidays or special occasions and offered to give anyone who had been drinking a Courtesy ride home from the bar if they had been drinking. I like it that they are willing to take these preventive measures and it helps keep our community safe. Thank you Boardman Police Officers for all the great work you have been doing in keeping our community safe. You are truly appreciated. Rhonda Haberstich
