Overall, very good! If the chef offers a tasting dinner during your stay, I recommend attending. We loved the Irish whisky pairing dinner. Bravo chef! The breakfast menu is limited, we were told, due to COVID. My favorite breakfast item is the eggs Benedict, and the Montana omelette is a close second. For lunch, you can’t go wrong with their delicious cheeseburger. Most of the food was very good, but there were however, a few opportunities for improvement. We ordered an Applejack Hot Toddy that was suppose to be apple brandy, honey, lemon & cinnamon. Instead, we got a mug of hot water with honey & a cinnamon stick. The elk meatballs were extremely dry and tasted very tough as though they were leftover and had been warmed up in the microwave.

Super nice restaurant.... Soft low lighting and comfortable ambiance. The steaks were great and the Huckleberry Ice Cream Mud Pie for dessert was to die for. The staff were all neatly dressed and super friendly. I must say this place thoroughly impressed me. I definitely will go back.
Food was delicious, service was great, and the bar was very welcoming after dinner. The manager Terry was walking around to every table checking on every customer and was able to get our large group in last minute. Impressed to say the least. Highly recommended!
This restaurant has an amazing menu and drink menu. The prices are great and the atmosphere is fantastic. We visited in December 2020 and the service was accommodating and friendly. The gourmet Mac and cheese with duck was out of this world. They also serve a great flourless chocolate cake. I’m allergic to strawberries and they accommodated me very well each of my visits (we ate both breakfast and dinner here several times during our stay.) the wait time was hardly existent and we enjoyed the view during day time. Some nights they had live entertainment and specials. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying at the lodge or visiting whitefish.
2/3 of our visits were good. Service during Thursday’s “oyster’s and bubbles” special was virtually nonexistent. We watched patiently while the waitresses chatted amongst themselves at the bar for 30-40 minutes. We could not get a refill or place additional orders. On other occasions we had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant which was good, but not exceedingly so. There are better options in Whitefish.
