Come and help out if you can. We love what they do and as a family we come here and volunteer as much as we can.

My experience with this agency was terrible. Pat the agency screener showed no empathy or concern towards me and my 5 month old son. I found out l was pregnant August 14th and had my son August 17th. I have a medical condition called PCOS. So I had no idea l was pregnant until I was 31 weeks pregnant. I was laid off of my job due to COVD. I have not been able to find employment. I am facing an eviction, my electric bill has a final notice. I am behind in multiple bills. Today I had my first day of training at my new job. After training l received a phone call from Pat who works closely with Trina. Pat gave me a call informing me that I would not be able to get any assistance. I expressed to her that my lights would be turned off. I sent documents of my light bill showing final notice. I expressed to Pat that I will need assistance with daycare. Pat denied me of all help. And stated that I can sign up for free food. And told me to contact other agencies for. I was saddened for deeply knowing that I have a five month old son and I am trying to get back in my feet. I myself have a backpack in social work. And have earned my BS in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from Georgia Southern University. I was laid off by the Housing resource center where I was assisting the elderly. Connecting them to community resources and assistance within their communities. Now I am in need and is unavailable to get assistance. I pray that God open the doors for new employees who has a heart, and who empathizes with those who are in need.
