Great service and fun adventures if you have the money to spend. Cody was all about giving you as valuable and personal experience as he could. The pacing was perfect and if things took an unexpected turn, Cody was sure to go above and beyond to get everything back on track.

Absolutely great crew that guided and taught well with the perfect mix of personalized instruction combined with true outdoor "rawness". Could tell these folks were experienced, had great personalities and most importantly, great food afterwards. Would highly recommend for anyone from the urban dweller to a forest ranger.
We went out on a kayaking trip on the Yellow Breeches with our family and it was fantastic! Cody did a great job of instructing us in all the safety measures and also just how to use our paddles. He went above and beyond by pointing out different creatures along the way and also landmarks that we would have missed. He also helped to guide us along the more rapid parts of the river, giving us the opportunity to try something new ("river surfing") that was so much fun to explore. The name of his company is perfect. Because not only did we explore all that the Yellow Breeches had to offer, we had quite the incredible adventure on a beautiful spring afternoon. I highly recommend Cody and his team. Book them today!!! You won't regret it!
Cody was a phenomenal guide. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone canoeing and was definitely feeling intimidated by the water. Cody made sure I felt comfortable and safe the entire time, while keeping our entire party engaged and together. In addition, he helped me surf the rapids and taught us all about Harrisburg wildlife. I really enjoyed the beautiful spring weather and seeing all the animals with my family. I’m so glad we picked Adventure Explorations for our trip and will 100% be coming back to ask for Cody as a guide again!!
We're officially a climbing family thanks to Adventure Explorations! We had the best day climbing and rappelling with Cody and Jonathan. They were wonderful with my kids (4,4 and 3). They picked the perfect age-appropriate spot for them to climb, and they made sure everyone was completely safe before anything happened. We got to try climbing, scrambling and I went rappelling off of Chickie's Rock. A once-in-a-lifetime experience for me, I'm sure. After our adventurous day, we headed back for a locally-sourced tailgate lunch complete with kielbasa, fresh bread and whoopie pies. I highly recommend this talented team of guides for your next family adventure.
This was a well organized, safe, fun, outdoor activity that was adventurous for all. We loved the rock climbing experience. It was challenging and the guides instructed us very well. We would definitely return again for one of the many activities offered from this great company.
I booked a day trip with Ben to spend the day Fly Fishing. Ben was a wealth of knowledge, very professional, and knew all the best spots to fish. He also cooked us an amazing lunch. I am new to the sport so I needed someone with lots of patience and willing to take the time to teach. Ben exceeded all of my expectations!
What a phenomenal experience! Not only are the experiences quality but you feel like the team at adventure explorations is your very own personal fan club. Not a detail was missed which made it feel like amazing value on every level. I can’t wait for the next adventure!
