I recently purchased an HP Envy All in-One Signature Edition, with the Intel I7-6700T, 16 GB DRAM and an SSD primary drive. I bought it primarily because of delays running the Visual Studio debugger on my old PC. I also thought that a larger screen would be nice. I am totally blown away at the speed of the Envy. The system boots Windows 10 in just a few seconds. Starting Visual Studio on the old PC took several minutes. Now that requires about 3 seconds. Also, the new screen is absolutely beautiful and allows side-by-side windowing during debug sessions. Granted, the old machine had only 4 GB of DRAM and a slow primary HDD, but I hadn't expected this much improvement. Great work by HP and Intel on this, with a shoutout to Microsoft. Technology works. I'm in love.
