This system is so broken and the people that work here are mostly incompetent and have no idea how to actually help people. I understand there were “identify theft issues,” but taking eight weeks to get back in touch with people to issue a determination in the middle of a pandemic is absolutely ridiculous. You spend hours on the phone only to be tossed around, and most folks don’t even know what’s going on with your application. What a joke, and what a waste of time.

Have been telling me for months I'll get paid soon. Still have yet to receive anything. It feels as if they are doing it on purpose. Tell me everything is fine but nothing changes. I would be on the street if I didn't have forgiving roommates/pawning all my possessions. Nasty Department Of Labor.
Would leave negative stars if I could. The people on the phone are most of the time rude and unhelpful. I have had a few that were pleasant. I have spent more time than I should on trying to get my unemployment claim. I am forced to quarantine because of contracting Covid-19 and the system I am forced to pay into is not the safety net it is supposed to be. I was told by a representative that they system is not timely but everything else about it is good. A system that is not timely in its responses and services is not a properly working system. I have read other reviews to make sure I was not experiencing an isolated experience. After reading a lot of other reviews I feel justified in saying the Idaho Labor Department Unemployment Insurance is an ineffective waste of our money. They either need a lot more funding or a complete overhaul of their normal operating procedures.
if i could give negative starts i would. wayne/wayde, whatever is name is.. is the MEANEST and unhelpful person that works here, i’ve never had to deal with someone that rude whine the phone before. they were very unkind and SO unhelpful. nasty NASTY attitudes !!!!!!!
