Not impressed! I’ve gone here the last few years because it’s close to my home . I’ve ordered 3 pairs of glasses during that time and have had to come back twice due to issues with my glasses. After purchasing a pretty pricey pair of glasses my last visit I thought I would get a quality pair of glasses with no issues. WRONG!! The Lenses started to crack from the top and sides only a week after getting them fixed from a previous issue. After this, I decided to go elsewhere. Now, I simply ask them to send me my script to get glasses at another place and they can’t even do that right! They send me my script via email without a Dr signature so I Call to notify them and they say it’s going to be a while because the Dr is with a patient. Ok I get it, but she says, “they should accept the electronic signature we sent”. I proceed to let her know that I never received a “electronic signature” on the previous email so if she can send that over quickly (because I’m at the other eye Dr waiting to pay) she responds I will send it RIGHT OVER. WRONG!!! It’s been over 1 Hr and still no script. Avoid this place by all means!!! Unless you don’t mind coming in every now and again to fix issues and like being overcharged for lenses.
I am beyond impressed with Dr. Frankel and Ian who works there. Their customer service here is exceptional. Dr. Frankel take his time to give you a full detailed eye exam and always answers any questions you might have. He recommended to me these new contact lenses that just came out a month ago called precision 1. I am someone who has worn contact lenses for the past 30 years and I can tell you these are amazing! No dryness whatsoever and I feel as though I do not have any lenses on. MyEyeDr. has the latest technology available, for example instead of getting your eyes dilated with drops, they have the 3D machine that gets the best comprehensive photo images of your whole eye and Dr. Frankel is able to see right away with the 3D photos the back of your eye to check for diabetes, glaucoma, or any other eye issue that you want checked out, you are able to view the photos of your eye in detail with him and it sure beats getting your eyes dilated. The building is always impeccable, and everything always looks new l, and the amazing selection of glasses is phenomenal. I have been going there for the past 4 years, and so does my husband and son. Highly recommend Dr Frankel and My EyeDr for your yearly eye exam and glasses. Dr Frankel also speaks Spanish and Polish, and Ian speaksSpanish. Highly recommend this place for your eye exams and glasses and contacts.
False advertising of accepting all insurances, even after calling to make appointment, providing insurance information then. Then on the day of the visit, provide insurance information again. They waiting until all services were rendered, to state they dont take the insurance. Items we agreed upon, asked for was not delivered.....horrible tactic just to make the sale, we ended up paying full price, since apparently their false advertising is the customers problem. They dont even deserve one star.....
