Just discovered this trail after living in Irvine for a very long time. Trail is a bit rocky. Not sure I'd take my dog. Hard on his paws. The street trail would be better.

Love riding my mountain bike here. Very challenging climb for a rookie like myself, but a wonderful place. Can get pretty busy, so be careful/aware of the people on the trail, when riding fast.

Nice but small trailhead gives access to great trail system. With a good bit of climbing you can make it into Crystal Cove from here. On once- monthly Open Access days you can access even more trails as they open up some special trails. Really awesome entry point into nature.
