Highly recommend choosing this spot to experience what the mountains have to offer in the Boone area of North Carolina. The accommodations and grounds are immaculate and full of amenities in a gorgeous setting with lots of privacy - from the comfortable swinging benches and outdoor furniture in the seating areas all over the beautifully landscaped grounds that have a 360 degree view of the mountains - to the fire pit to the bird feeders all over - to the hot tub and pool table in the West Wing - to the interior with rooms that are very clean with modern and chic decor. It is very conveniently located to Boone and extremely easy to drive in and out of. The owners are welcoming and give it their personal touch. We have been here twice and intend to come back.

We have stayed at Kilkelly four times and are looking forward to our fifth time. The views and the property are amazing. It is consistently clean and the amenities are fantastic (both winter and summer). We have had the pleasure of being there when it was blanketed with snow and while everything is at its peak springtime bloom. This place is perfection for our son (who has been going from age 3 to 7 now). It is a wonderful place to stay in the NC Mountains! Thank you Joanie and Gary for providing awesome family memories.
Amazing mountain getaway experience! Joanie is a fantastic host, so accommodating, the grounds and views are immaculate with long range views and a short hike to a local waterfall. If you are looking for a place to reconnect and refresh, you are there.
It's a close to heaven that you can get while still walking on this earth. Can't thank Joni and Gary enough for their hospitality and sharing their beautiful cabin. All your cares and stress go away from the time you step out of your car.
Beautiful venue even in the rain! The west wing is a great place to stay!
