Mr. Myers kept my mantle clock for 1 1/2 years. Finally he called to say it was done. When I brought it to him, it kept good time but did not chime. When I got it back, it did not run and it did not chime. I called him repeatedly but he would not pick up the phone or answer my messages. I went to another clock repair man and he told me the clock was ruined. Parts had been removed and crudely made replacements had been substituted. He also took my brass pendulum. I give him NO stars and strongly recommend against bringing your clocks to him. He charged me 217 which I paid by check. What a waste! If you do use Mr. Myers, pay by credit card so you can cancel the payment if your clock does not work.

Couldn't be happier. Last yr. I paid a company to balance and maintenance our grandfather clock. It had not worked in yrs. The maintenance was a couple hundred dollars and they had to come back for another 180.00 I moved to Boonsboro and the clock had broken again. Dave the owner disassembled the clock and indicated it wasn't done right at all. He meticulously oiled every moving part and gear by hand. He found the problem and has it working like new. Oil and a check up every 5 yrs and who knows how long it will last? Dave says quite a while. He has 28 yrs of experience and a passion for his work. Highly recommend him. His cost and time was most reasonable.

we were gifted an old grandfather clock that \had not run in ages\ according to the previous owner. Mr. Myers came out to the house first thing the morning after I called him. he was incredibly knowledgeable and welcomed my barrage of questions. He ran back to his shop after operating for a bit to get a proper pendulum. He had the piece up an running in short order, taught me what to (and not to) do, and how to keep father time ticking. He was facinating to watch, wonderful to talk to and fully competent in his art. and he even called several hours later to ensure it was still working properly! Many many thank yous, Dave!
