reached out to Joe to give my resume a fresh look. He quickly emailed me back and provided a reasonable quote, that included a cover letter. He even offered to add a second resume for only slightly more! Through out the process, he was communicative and was true to his deadlines. I could not be happier with the final product!! I did receive it in mid-march and at that point, I decided to stop my job search. Well, a job I had applied to in January reached out to me to ask me to interview, I emailed them my updated resume in my response. I heard that my updated resume moved me from the \maybe\ pile to the top candidate pile!! I wish I had emailed him in December when I started my job search!!!

I had a very outdated resume, and contact Acme Resume for an update. Joe was prompt and extremely courteous. He did an entire \make over\ and the result was fantastic. Unlike other services, he will take the time to really understand your past experience, and future goals. Then he will craft a professional resume that you will be proud of.
I used Joe for my resume and cover letter (and later referred him to my mother, who was also very impressed). He was beyond professional, punctual and communicative. I was a very challenging case because of how occupied I was, and he dealt with all my curve balls without blinking an eye. His rates were reasonable; I really cannot say enough good about him. I specifically sought out writing this review because I wanted to thank him for his work.
Any time I have needed expert resume updating, editing, and retooling services over the past few years, I have called on Joe Gallo. I recommend him highly. 1. He does it all. Resume updating? Check. Resume reformatting? Check. Retooling for an industry switch? Check? Rewriting to target your dream job? Check. 2. He's courteous, quick, and thorough. He usually works from previous resumes and raw lists of your experience, although I have given him old cover letters and dream job ads to help him out. He provides a time range and cost estimate up front, but this may change if more work is needed. Then he goes through a collaborative process where he makes drafts and sends you them for approval. It's not final until you agree it's final, and then you can pay by Paypal with credit or debit card. 3. He really gets resumes. Like, really gets them, man. His decades of experience and his meticulous editorial background, plus his familiarity with the form, yield high-quality resumes. You can be sure that he's exploiting the form to its fullest potential to grab attention of potential employers. 4. It's easy. No matter where you are or what your resume goals, you talk to Joe by E-mail or phone. Supply him the information; let him work his editorial wonders; and then you have a brand new spiffy resume! And it's all at very fair prices. A, 11/10, would update resume with again.
So I actually didn't use Joe as I contacted him and needed a quick turnaround that wasn't doable. But he did look over my resume and offered various ways I could improve it myself and referred me to a colleague. This is incredible customer service that I wasn't expecting. Also, my girlfriend had her resume written by him and it honestly is a work of art. He masterfully wrote her strengths and experience that read like a beautifully crafted novel that highlights everything that needed to be mentioned. I was in the boat of \I could write my own\. You wouldn't roof your house yourself, you would hire a professional. I recommend applying the same mentality to this. Hire a professional who does outstanding work.
