This rating is for the food, drinks and sanitation, me and my wife visited for quick lunch and ordered bunch of tacos and empanadas, 5/5 food was delicious no second thoughts, but staff need to make sure clean and sanitize the tables after every use especially due COVID-19, under our table its was lots of food crumbs, even on a tables, we get it to the rule after finish with your food keep your dirty trays to assigned are but staff needs to clean the table for next person to sit. also i am not sure why you have replied about we bought our own food. which we never did, it might be someone else. stay safe

La Catrina is one of the BEST places in Brighton. The best staff and their empanadas and churros are to die for. Right now they have outdoor dining, inside dining or pickup too. We're moving out of Brighton but will make sure to come back just for them

Very neat and accessible restaurant. They provide big meals and for economical rates. We liked the menu very much and the staff were very personal and chatty. Recommended.

La Catrina—and I really mean this—is my favorite. I really, really love burritos, and I think this place has the best I’ve ever had! All of the ingredients are individually delicious, which is very important for a good burrito, and somehow they are always rolled perfectly. I’ve never had one burst or leak in any way. They press them a little on a grill, and now I wish every burrito place did that. My boyfriend and I also had the taco bar on Cinco de Mayo (our first time ordering from La Catrina) and that was solid too. I want to try their other dishes but I love their burritos so much that I can’t get myself to order anything else! They also use eco-friendly and compostable packaging, which I really respect. Haven’t had the chance to dine-in as we only started coming here mid-COVID, but I’m sure its a delightful experience, especially now that they have tables outside. The staff is kind, and the murals and art inside are beautiful. I’m really going to miss picking up take-out from La Catrina once we move a bit further away in a few days...but good thing they deliver! :)

I've lived/worked in Allston/Brighton for four years & have a deep appreciation for this community. La Catrina is absolutely one of my favorite places I've ever had the chance to become a regular at. Their empanadas are wonderful, and the churros are incredible. (Their sauces are indescribably good!) The staff is amazing and we'll miss being able to send our weekly order via text and pick up our meal. We love La Catrina and will make sure we get to visit them any time we're in the area!
