I later found out that breakfast is only served as long as there's a minimum of 4 guests in house so if there aren't a handfull of people here then don't count on breakfast dispite what the website says and what the staff will tell you on the phone. Update: on day 3, the day after I posted this review, a cook came in to cook us breakfast so I changed the review from 3 to 4 stars. I'm glad that Mariners House made this right even if it was 3 days into the stay. NO breakfast included. I like the place, it has a very cool atmosphere even though the rooms are small. The staff is friendly. I gave 3 stars instead of 5 because there is NO continental breakfast included even though their website advertises breakfast included. I was fine with that because I thought I was getting a discount until a staff member just told me on day 2 of my stay that he's adding 20 per day to my bill for my father staying with me who is also a merchant mariner. I've tried to stay here many times in the past and now that it's slow season I got to. First for the price and location you can't ask for anything more. It's not a Four Seasons but it's not meant to be. Being a merchant Mariner this is an excellent choice. Simple, clean, friendly staff all make it well worth it. Also close to the airport is an added bonus.
Always love staying here they do a great job of keeping the place up to date, clean, safe, and always courteous. It's a great price of history and I highly recommend it to anyone that has their current MMC.
