Jonny is the best! He is a very talented musician and clearly knows what he is doing. More importantly, he is an effective teacher--- he is patient, outgoing and friendly, gets to know each student, and adapts to the learning style and the particular music each student is interested in. He has taught both myself (an adult) as well as my children and is able to engage at both levels equally well. He is also willing to be flexible in scheduling, which works great with families that have busy schedules. I highly recommended him either for teaching adults or children.

I've been taking ukulele lessons from Jonny for 6 months and it has been awesome! He has really improved my playing fundamentals and helped me really get to know the uke. On top of being a great instructor, he's a really nice guy with a fun teaching style. He makes learning music very approachable. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a music instructor.

Jonny is one of the best teachers I've ever had. I'm an adult, learning the guitar, but I've played the piano a long time. I love that he's so encouraging. He is really attentive to playing the guitar the right way. He's adaptable and is willing to teach me on the fly what I want to learn, just by listening to a song. He keeps it light and fun and doesn't emphasize drills and boredom. He helps me remember that learning an instrument and music is fun.

Jonny is an excellent teacher! He personalizes each lesson for students based on what they need to work on using music that they like,. My daughter has been taking lessons for several months now and her ability has skyrocketed! He even helped her break some bad habits that she picked up by being self-taught!
