These girls and boys have locked me out my account and react to my complaints by sending form letters. I cannot use my own Y, because their sign-on system interposes itself between me and the Y. And their Support is useless. Any attempt by me to change Passwords, for example, is deemed “Suspicious Activity” and the account remains locked. It is not possible to get anyone on the phone. A real horror show.

So instead of my YMCA buying true weight room equipment they bought this system. Seems like a waste of my dues. I’ll be giving my feedback. I don’t need a machine to tell me what weight to use or how many reps I need. I’m also not a circuit trainer so this is an expensive system I’ll never use AND it eats up floor space. The two other reviewers (giving 5 star ratings) are eGym employees. How lame guys.
I got to experience the eGym fitness equipment for the first time at FIBO in the spring 2019 when touring their booth as a customer of their Netpulse mobile app. I was blown away with how different it was to the traditional 'blocks of steel on a cable' design. You scan your wristband, it remembers who you are, adjusts all the settings to your body size/abilities and guides you through the workouts on a high-res display screen in a fun 'follow the path' model. An analogy we started to use was driving into a Tesla vs a normal car. Full Disclosure: I was so impressed with what they're building, by the end of the year I joined the company.
