Johannes and Dusty are the best instructors on the front range, hands down. Really established pilots with a ton of years under their belts, accident-free. They give personal attention and are calm and reassuring coaches over the radio when you’re in the air. By the time I got my P2 license I felt confident in my ability to make good decisions on the ground and in the air, had a strong understanding of what to look for in the weather to fly safely, and had a really great community of pilots for ongoing mentorship. Johannes and Dusty are great at coaching people to become capable, safe, and independent pilots, and make sure you have a ton of fun doing it! Can’t recommend them enough!!

It is a privilege to learn from two of the best pilots in the western US. I came to the Boulder Free Flight paragliding school with nothing but a strong desire to learn how to fly. Johannes and Dusty helped me build a mindset of safety and strong fundamentals. Paragliding takes a lot of effort and focus to perform safely. I felt very confident in the instruction I received and the focus on safety that was instilled within me.

I can't thank them enough for the guidance they've given me. They go beyond just teaching you to fly a glider and deeper into the decision making that makes for a good pilot.
