We had a wonderful stay here. We actually stayed an extra night and will definitely return. The nearby town of Pinedale was one of my favorite parts of our Wyoming trip. There's also a cool museum a tons of lakes and national forests to explore. I enjoyed this area more than Jackson or Yellowstone because it was less crowded and touristy. The staff here is very nice and accommodating.

If you want the real ranch life deal, you've got it here. The nightly campfire/meet-and-greet are a great place to meet people from around the continent. It's windy in the daytime (not good for tenting, which we did), and cold at night (also a caveat to tenters). The town is at 7016 feet. The rustic out-buildings, cabins, and trailers give a western feel to the property. Definitely good for RVers, not for tenters. Lander is too far away for a day trip (2 hours) , and Jackson Hole is not much closer (1.75 hrs). I didn't see the town, but it seems primitive as far as attractions. In short, Wind River View is a good, friendly & authentic stop on a road trip.

Lyn and the rest of the crew were genuinely so kind! This campground was perfect for what we needed - on our way from Colorado to Idaho. Perfect stop! Even though we arrived late, they were all so accommodating and thoughtful (helping us with tent options to minimize the wind). The bathrooms were very clean, the campground was clean, fire pits were great, and the sunset over the river was gorgeous! Thanks for having us :)

Great experience! Has great pressure showers and quality laundry machine. The person we talked with, who we assumed to be the owner, was super friendly and accommodating! Electrical to charge devices too

It is just a level gravel campground but quite reasonable for the area. And not to expensive. WiFi is not reliable.

Never judge a book by its cover. Not big on curb appeal, this RV camping turns out to be very pleasant for a short or longer stay. It is quite basic but the hookups are good, the facilities are clean. No frills, yet you can’t beat the price, and the location is excellent. The lady who manages the rv park is super nice. Very helpful and lives on-site. She brings a most welcoming vibe to the place. The WiFi is usable. The restrooms were clean with serviceable showers. The laundry building was big and full of working machines, enough for everybody. I will remember this little place and happily return another trip. Not luxurious but most comfortable and a wonderful quiet location.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The owner ruined a family vacation with extremely inconsistent rules. He chose to apply the rules at his in his convenience not generally for the park but up to him. Some days music is too loud other days music and blast all night. We were two families with children and were bothered by Shirtless a park owner that lacked the ability to be consistent with park rules. Music to loud, conversation to loud, we had 2 little children with us. We are not a party group. I won’t recommending this place to fellow campers. By far the worst family camping trip in my life. The owner has no business running a camp ground. It was so bad we left a day early. Don’t book this place

Worst campground we've been to, BY FAR! The manager is never on site and the rare moment when she is, she's knocking on your door to complain about how you parked 2ft to far to the left then she disappears again. Screams at you that its wrong then won't stick around to tell you where she'd like it and the sites are in no way clearly marked. This is terrible. Honestly. She has single handedly ruined WY for us.
