Butch A has been helping my grandparents with all their appliance needs for a little bit now and they are super happy with his service! He has been patient, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable on all matters appliance! They bought their stove from him right before Thanksgiving a few years ago, saving our family holiday dinner, and because of his exceptional service, they just bought a new washer and dryer! He has made the process so easy for them and we are beyond grateful for his expertise!

Butch Affeldt was the best sales person we’ve ever had. He was so helpful to us in picking out the best appliances for our project. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything really well. He even told us about all the rebates being offered at the time. The kitchen remodel turned out amazing. Thank you Butch!!
These guys are a joke!! I bought a 1600 kitchen aid cooktop for my mom as a Christmas present. It was installed 10 days ago and looks over a year old. Now bray and scarf says it’s my fault. No customer service!! Buy Lowe’s or Home Depot. You get a better deal!!
Butch Affedlt is a great salesman! He helped me with my purchase of a new refrigerator over the phone because I didn’t want to go into the store. He explained the differences between the refrigerators that I was interested in and gave me enough information to help me make a decision. He told me he had to check the warehouse to see if the refrigerator I wanted was available. He checked and personally called to let me know it was there and arranged for delivery. The delivery went so well with the delivery team being so professional wearing their masks and explaining how to use the refrigerator. I love the refrigerator, thanks to Butch!
I don't write reviews very often, but felt compelled to write this one due to the very pleasant experience I have always had in dealing with Butch Affeldt at Bray and Scarff in the Bowie store. Every time I have needed an appliance Butch has come to my rescue – I know that I can depend on him to help me make the right decisions for my house. He truly looks out for his customers. Bray and Scarff is lucky to have this professional! There are Bray and Scarff stores closer to me but I know I can depend on Butch so it is worth the extra travel time to go to the Bowie store. Because I know that I can depend on Butch’s wisdom I am now planning on remodeling my kitchen. THANK you BUTCH!!!
Butch was very helpful in finding an available gas range for our kitchen. With limited supplies due to COVID, he went above and beyond to ensure we received a range that matched our other appliances.
Antoninette at the Bowie Store was very helpful in helping us make sure our replacement microwave/oven combo unit would fit in our existing space. Because we have a narrow space, we had few choices. She was very helpful looking up and explaining the requirements for the new oven The delivery crew for my oven was great. They were very careful, and took their time, even though it was late in the day. The even re-leveled my refrigerator (previous purchase from Bray and Scarf). Doing a kitchen refresh, cabinet doors are being repainted. Thank you Bray and Scarff!
I’m so happy I made the decision to shop Bray & Scarff for a washer and dryer! Butch was awesome-he asked about my needs and then recommended several options. He also checked availability so I wouldn’t have to wait to take delivery. The level of customer service Butch provided is rare nowadays!
