When I went to Ms. Carter for counseling I thought her approach was very effective and I appreciated her desire of wanting to maintain a neutral position. She seemed very insightful and created an environment for all parties to grow.

I felt stuck and so confused about my where I was in my career, and unfortunately, these feelings were bleeding over into my personal life. When I met Twanna, I was looking for answers, but didn't realize that I would only find them if I looked inside myself. She calmly guided me to examine my choices, identify my feelings, and helped me remember who I am. Most importantly, she helped me see myself out of a situation that I needed to leave--she listened with a non-judgmental ear, guided me look to inside myself for the answers, and reminded me to stay accountable to my values. I can't say enough about how much it has meant to me to have someone affirm that it was ok for me to feel stuck and to want something better or different for myself. Today, I'm so proud of everything that she and I accomplished together; I am in a much happier and healthier place than before I started coaching with her. She is truly a gifted coach and I am so happy to have had her be a part of my life.
