TOO MANY PEOPLE. Tried to fish, and couldn't get away from people on rented kayaks, paddleboats, etc... No one knows the rules of the water, and most were too busy on their cell phones to notice anything around them. If you want a place to rent a kayak and float around while you look at your cell phone with complete disregard to your surroundings, this place is for you. I am sure the rest of the park is very nice...just not for me.

Nice boat ramp with great view of the lake and close to Cabin Branch Trail. Worth check it out.
Flat water that is relaxing, and perfect for stand up paddle boarding. Boat ramp is not slippery and doable if you wanted to not wear shoes. Good wildlife such as otters. Friendly people so far.
Love this place good place to go have fun with family and friends. Natural beauty appeals and a well manged park
