This is our 6 year old's favorite ride! As she's 47 inches tall, she's limited on what bigger rides she can ride, especially those roller coaster type rides the bigger kids can enjoy. This one is great for the whole family and she can feel the excitement of those "big" drops. There are several still scenes you travel past with some recorded lines that we even repeat at home as family "jokes".

Classic older "dark" coaster. This is definitely a "must ride" @SDC. It is low-thrill, a great ride with younger kids who can't ride the big coasters. But even if you seek the higher-thrill rides, do be sure to ride Fire in the Hole once!
In an age where amusement parks are dominated by the biggest and fastest roller coasters, Fire in the Hole stands out as one of the last great dark rides. This ride is so excellent, I am filled with a nostalgic desire to return every time I smell a musty basement. This is the single greatest dark ride that I have ever ridden. I prefer it even above the haunted mansion at Disney World. If you have never ridden Fire in the Hole before, you absolutely must ride in the very front
