Santa...you need to get your resume together... Fast, efficient, clean, neat, nothing out of place. Also not contaminated by smiles. Happy seeming employees whizzing by robots in waltz of unfathomable depths of boxes of putty, rainbow headbands, cupcakes, and 46 inch digital television. It's exactly inside what you've seen in the unbelievable videos. Robots welcome! Just follow the stickers on the floor.
I just became employed within a month ago and I must say I love this place...its very clean, organized, & they take COVID19 precautions very serious...they actually have a safety team that practices & make sure the employees are staying 6ft apart and keeping all the products wiped down, & properly wearing masks. This company is a place that allows you to explore your experiences and move up quickly! I love the fact how they have it set where you can operate almost everything from the comfort of your phone....even CLOCKING IN AND OUT....how cool is that, huh. Also, human resources is easy access which is there on the company warehouse floor. The only mini issue I have is one cat in human resources is not friendly or helpful at all...however, I immediately reported her. This is a great company I can see myself retiring from!
I work here and can say that the Amazon employees go far and beyond to get every package out in the fastest manner possible. 12 hour shifts of constant standing on your feet with on 2, 15 min breaks and a 30 minute lunch. It's dedication and discipline! All to meets customers demands. We strive by excellence and true leadership. I love working here. Great people too!
Amazon MGE 1/7 has been an excellent place to work! From day one, (which is almost a year ago), expectations have been met and exceeded. I left a high-stress job to come here, and never regretted it. After reading hundreds of reviews about Amazon Fulfillment Centers, I was curious how the work environment would be. I discovered that a lot of the reviews were likely written by people that either didn't have a good attitude, or a good work ethic. There are metrics to meet, but they are very obtainable with a decent effort. I feel like my job is a paid workout. Going in for each shift, I plan on getting my heart rate up through physical activity, and that is a good thing! In March I had to take 6 weeks off for a snapped collarbone due to a mountain unicycling accident. Amazon HR was great to work with, and even the insurance was a lot better than I thought it would be. I have a metal plate screwed into the damaged area, and \making rate\ is still possible. The end of this month, (June - 2019), I have to leave in order to fulfill a longstanding vision. July 4th begins a 4,000 mile cross-country unicycle fundraiser from Seattle to Key West, for Disabled American Veterans and Firefighter Burn Victims. I will spend 4 months on this mission, raising awareness for both of these worthy charities. Feel free to follow the journey on Instagram @rhinoventures if you are interested.
