Rented housekeeping cabin for 3 nights. Cabin definitely needs repairs. Looks like they are remodeling some of the cabins so hopefully this cabin is next. Worse thing was we had a mouse. We discovered it the second night as I saw something scurry into a closet. The third night the mouse was in the walls scurrying around. Also there was an odor in the hallway, now thinking there is a dead mouse in the walls there. Very disappointed for what I paid.
Not worth it! Not only is it impossible to get in touch with anyone for check in info when you arrive, when you leave the owner tries to claim damages that you didn't cause! Stayed 3 nights with no check in info or rules. Cabin not kept up for the price paid. When i finally got ahold of owner at noon the day after my check in i got an oops sorry i didn't send you the info, and claimed he just tried to call me and I didn't answer(lie). If it was my business i would have offered to make it right not try and blame me for damages that we're clearly there for years and not fixed. Just make sure to have check in info before you leave your house and take pictures when you arrive and leave like i did.
The owner is extremely unprofessional and you can never get through to them by phone. The owner accused us of having a dog inside of the cabin and stated there was dog hair all over the couch. We were only in the cabin to sleep at night and did not even use their couch. From other reviews, this is not the first time the owner has tried to over charge guests. The beds are also hard as a rock. Customers beware!
Extremely rude. Claim Covid-19 is not a thing but closed all watercraft rentals. What good is a lakeside cabin if you can't use the lake? Also be prepared to be insulted.
We had a wonderful time in their camper cabins. Thank you! We will be back!
Booked a cabin in February and looked on their website today to find out that they were not supplying cookware or renting watercraft due to Covid 19. Boating was the main thing my group was looking for, so I called 3 times without anyone picking up the phone. I then asked for a cancellation and refund via email and got a response immediately that they would not be issuing a refund and "Will gladly be cancelling the reservation for you immediately." All talks about rescheduling the trip for next year have gone out the window. I will NEVER rent from this company. Stay away! EDIT: Just received an email response from the owner: "I apologize for hurting your feelings. Some people are just bigger whiners than others and its hard to telll. Make sure to book somewhere that supplies baby wipes" If this is your "Customer Service" then you might want to rethink your business ethics and practices.
Its a shame i was considdering going here but after seeing the negitive reviews from so many people i will have to take my buisness else where
