*UPDATE* 2/2/2021 - corporate called me and offered a very sincere apology and i appreciate that. review changed from 1 star to 3. The first time I walked in to get a storage unit, it was a half hour before they closed. The woman who was working the counter said to me: \can you please just go do this online? we are about to close\. I told her there was still 30 minutes of time and why would it be such an issue to sign me up for a rental? reluctant, she pulled out a form with a sigh and began to finally help me. 5 months later, EZ storage sent me a letter saying there would be a rent raise starting 2/1/2021. I received this letter on January 15. Assuming, the rent wouldn't change till February I thought I'd at least have 28 days plus the 15 days I was given notice to empty the storage unit. This was incorrect. The woman at the office told me they provided ample time, 30 days, despite the postal service being defunded and not receiving the letter in a timely fashion. I was only given 15 days to empty the storage unit. I am an invalid and cannot walk, so this was especially infuriating. She told me repeatedly they do not change the rent or send the letters so to contact corporate. This is so unfair during a global pandemic, a random rent raise with NO time to remove my things and an excuse of \the postal service is not our responsibility\. They have my email address on file and could have sent out an email in addition to their letter that did not reach me in time. They could have also notified customers TWO months in advance instead of 30 days to bamboozle them into paying extra rent. I was mean to the woman at Brentwood and I regret it, she's correct. This is ALL corporate wanting more money.

As with most businesses, it's the people that make it great. Giovanna is the bright light here. Yes the facility is clean, well lite, secured, reasonably priced, and in a convenient location for my needs, but she's the reason I have been able to easily navigate from out of the country my storage needs in Maryland. Thank you so, so much Giovanna!
I want to commend Melissa and Giovanne at Brentwood EZ storage. I have been storing there for 15 years. They made my move out easy and painless and even had a hammer for me to borrow! Truly appreciate their commitment to their customers and to superior service. Thank you.
